Job Title: Senior Engineer (5818-04)

Job Description: Performs design, development, modification and evaluation for complicated and difficult hardware and system level tasks. Responsible for design and development of component, equipment and system level designs using engineering development tools. Has technical responsibility for planning and conducting technical projects or phases of projects and may coordinate the efforts of designers, drafters, technical writers and technicians. Develops test plans and procedures. Develops and recommends design approaches for new or improved products and/or processes. Conducts independent technical investigations and research. Works with technicians and engineers developing and testing equipment and systems for field operation. Plans, designs and fabricates special devices for the information gathering and dissemination field.

Education: BS + 6 years of experience or MSEE + 5 years

Location: This full-time position is located at Annapolis, Maryland.

Must be able to obtain a high-level of security clearance
