Job Description


Responsibilities: Senior Engine Inlet Designer with 15 years relevant experience in the design, analysis, integration and actuation of variable geometry supersonic inlets. Position will require leading small teams of engineers in related disciplines. Experience base should include transition to production.
Position: Full-Time

Existing clearance required

Positions at U.S. locations may require citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances. Additional clearances may also be required from the DoD.



The ideal candidate will possess


Required Skills:
Must be able to define supersonic inlet requirements that include preliminary inlet design, propulsion system performance analysis with spill, additive and cowl drag. Should be able to determine system bleed flows. Experience with the following: inlet, engine, body, nozzle integration and inlet, engine wind tunnel test planning/execution. Inlet CFD background is a plus.


Desired Skills:
Subcontract management experience.

Degree: B.S.

Major(s): Aerospace Engineering

Experience can substitute for educational requirements
