Job Description


Responsibilities: Perform detailed structural analyses involving static and dynamic loads, stress analysis, dynamic response and fatigue life predictions. These analyses will be performed using both computer techniques, such as FEM, and classical methods.
Position: Full-Time




Security Clearance


Secret
Existing clearance not required

Positions at U.S. locations may require citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances. Additional clearances may also be required from the DoD.



The ideal candidate will possess


Required Skills:
FLUENT in structural analysis using PCs and engineering work stations in a Unix environment. Proficiency in Patran/NASTRAN preferred. PRO-E or equivalent CAD/CAM experience desired.


Desired Skills:
Ability to work in a teaming environment via integration with customers, internal and external, and co-workers. A self-starter that can provide guidance to junior engineers. Experience in structural test, static and dynamic, is highly desired. Fracture and fatigue analysis experience desired.


Typical Experience: 6-8 years

Degree: M.S.

Major(s): Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

Experience can substitute for educational requirements
