Job Description


Responsibilities: Senior systems engineer within an electro-optical sensor assembly, integration, and test (AI&T) team. Testing will cover payload level integration of sensors and electrical boxes prior to customer delivery. Job responsibilities will include requirements analysis, test procedure development and test execution, and failure/anomaly resolution. Leadership of small teams may be included. This engineer should be able to create project plans, develop and maintain schedules, track action items and drive them to completion, and interact easily with all parts of the program organization. This engineer should also be proactive when identifying and resolving issues. Mentorship of junior team members is expected. Overtime and shift work may be required.

Existing clearance required

Positions at U.S. locations may require citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances. Additional clearances may also be required from the DoD.



The ideal candidate will possess


Required Skills:
Current DOD Secret clearance. Previous space systems experience, either developing requirements and designs, or supporting test activities. Previous experience with thermal vacuum testing. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to interact with multiple organizations and people at varying levels within the organization. Strong communication skills. Good technical writing skills. Good presentation skills.


Desired Skills:
Previous electro-optical systems engineering or test experience. Previous experience with requirements flowdown and verification plan development.


Typical Experience: 6-8 years

Degree: B.S.
