Job Description


Responsibilities: Lead Systems Engineering activities and provide individual technical support to the design and development of EW Electronic Attack (countermeasure) systems to performance and cost goals. The emphasis will be RF systems and the associated platform interfaces. Specific responsibilities include leading the engineering effort to define system requirements and architecture, requirements traceability, supporting hardware and software development, supporting systems integration and test, and flight test activities.

The ideal candidate will possess


Required Skills:
System design, analysis, development and integration & test experience directly related to defense electronics systems. Ability to successfully lead a technical team, perform complex EW system and sub-system analysis, develop solutions to complex technical problems, review designs, conduct hardware/software trade-off studies, support proposals, and maintain engineering budgets and schedules. Must have strong RF/analog analytical skills and experienced in developing performance budgets, computer modeling, requirements analysis, decomposition (HWCI/SWCI), flow down/traceability of requirements and hardware/software integration and test.


Desired Skills:
Knowledge of airborne electronic attack (countermeasure) systems, aircraft interfaces (Mil-Std 1553), real-time embedded hardware/software system integration as well as a familiarity with aircraft system integration and test. Working knowledge of "DOORS" as a requirements traceability tool is desirable.
