Job Description


Responsibilities: Systems Engineer for production support of Paveway (tm) systems. Direct the successful introduction of new Paveway (tm) systems into the production factory. Lead the liaison between project engineering and factory engineering. Participate in failure review boards , risk management/review boards and test improvement working groups. Develop cost effective test requirements and update database to reflect and integrate modified/enhanced test procedures and test processes. Interpret and provide product requirements guidance to engineering staff relative to specification requirements vs. test requirements compatibly. represent with on-site government representatives and major subcontractors. Engage and direct other resources (e.g. engineering labs) as necessary to resolve technical/production issues which may arise.

Positions at U.S. locations may require citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances. Additional clearances may also be required from the DoD.



The ideal candidate will possess


Required Skills:
Familiarity with Paveway (tm) laser guidance along with extensive production engineering experience. Familiarity with Paveway (tm) laser guidance performance and operational requirements. Detailed knowledge of production processes, production qualification, process/yield improvement and engineering risk management. must exhibit fact based clarity in decision making. Must be able to independently investigate production engineering issues which may arise, engaging additional resources (engineering labs, failure lab, process lab, procurement, etc.) necessary to reach closure.


Desired Skills:
Knowledge of requirements management tools.
