The Student Services Director is responsible for the planning, development, organization and implementation of all aspects of Student Services programs (on campus/on line), including counseling services for students and the development of activities designed to enhance student and community life.
Interact with students and provide them with personal or administrative guidance.
Assist students who are struggling academically or have other issues.
Follow up with management in order to help students to solve administrative or academic issues.
Provides leadership and vision to ensure compliance in matters relating to student discipline, attendance, guidance services, and school safety.
Collaborates in developing and implementing services for students.
Organize cultural and academic events such as gatherings, seminars, webinars etc.
Plan an annual agenda for the Community Resources events.
Maintain and update the Community Resources archive (virtual and in print) with evidence from each event host by the University.
Knows and does personalize follow up of each one of the students.
Attend and solve the difficulties that the student may have throughout the semester, in addition to encouraging and motivating them.
Promote and facilitates the educational community between students and teachers.
Bachelor’s Degree or above.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other related computer programs
Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, coworkers, and general public.
Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff.
Mon to Fri 9,00 am – 6,00pm.
